A vascular ultrasound is a non-invasive scan that evaluates blood flow in your veins and arteries. It’s a vital tool for diagnosing conditions such as varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), arterial narrowing, and other vascular concerns.

At The Hamptons Hospital, your vascular ultrasound will be carried out by our expert team, including vascular sonographer Tanyah and consultant vascular surgeon Mr Ali Navi. You’ll lie comfortably while a specialist uses a handheld transducer to trace the flow of blood through your vessels — with no pain and no injections required.

This scan typically takes 30–45 minutes. Using the latest high-resolution equipment, we can detect blockages, vein reflux, or other circulatory issues with clarity and precision.

Results are reviewed quickly by our specialist vascular team, with follow-up options available, including minimally invasive treatments where needed.
