We’re excited to announce that The Hamptons Hospital is proud to sponsor the Hampton Hurricanes as they kick off their new season.

As part of the Hampton United Football Club, the Hurricanes are moving into their Under-9s campaign and they’ll be taking to the pitch in their brand-new home kits, proudly sponsored by The Hamptons Hospital. We’ll be following their progress throughout the season and cheering them on every step of the way.

To mark the start of the season, we spoke with Team Manager Tom Brumby about what makes the team so special.

Q&A with Coach Tom Brumby

Who are the Hampton Hurricanes and what league do you play in?
We’re part of Hampton United Football Club and play in the Hunts FA Junior Alliance League. The Hurricanes just finished their Under-8s season and will move to 7-a-side Under-9s from September.

How long has the team been together?
The team was formed in 2023 and we’ve all grown together since. None of us had coached before, and many of the boys were new to team football—so it’s been an incredible journey for players, coaches, and parents alike.

What makes this team stand out?
The bond. On and off the pitch, these boys support one another. There’s a genuine team spirit, backed by incredibly supportive families. It’s not just about results—it’s about growth, friendship, and fun.

Any recent proud moments?
We had a fantastic run at the Super 7’s Tournament, topping our group with four wins. After a dramatic penalty shootout win in the semi-final, we reached the final and finished as proud runners-up. The boys gave it everything.

What’s next this season?
Enjoyment and development are our top goals. We also have our End of Season Celebration on 5th July, where we’ll be raising funds for Sands and Centre 33—two brilliant causes.

Why Sponsorship Matters

What has it meant to have The Hamptons Hospital as a sponsor?
It’s huge. As a volunteer-run club, we rely on support like this. To be backed by a respected local organisation—one that also sponsors Peterborough United—means the world to our team. The boys are proud to wear the kit. It’s more than just a shirt, it’s a statement that they’re valued and supported.

Any response from parents?
The feedback has been brilliant. Parents were genuinely thrilled to hear that The Hamptons Hospital had kindly agreed to sponsor our new kit. It’s a meaningful gesture that’s had a real impact.

Have a great season, lads! Whether you win, lose or draw, remember—you’re doing your community proud just by showing up, giving it your all and being beacons of good health, determination and true team spirit. Get after it! 🔥⚽💪
