Mr Rory Norris is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist conditions. His expertise spans the treatment of arthritis, tendon pathologies, and carpal tunnel syndrome. With a patient-centred approach, Mr Norris delivers expert care for complex hand and wrist disorders, ensuring personalised solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.
Mr Norris graduated in medicine from the University of Dundee in 2004. Following his studies, he served 10 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, completing two operational tours of Afghanistan. He then pursued advanced training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the West Midlands, earning a Master’s degree in the field.
In addition to completing the prestigious Advanced Training Post fellowship in hand surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Mr Norris achieved the British Hand Surgery Diploma in 2018, securing the ‘Vivien Lees’ Gold Medal for the highest score. He is currently the clinical lead and a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
