Don’t just take it from us

I had surgery for an SCC (Squamous Cell Carcinoma/Skin cancer) on my right leg. This was carried out by Consultant Mark Lloyd under local anaesthetics. He fully explained the types of cancer it could be and what procedures he would carry out, based on his diagnosis.

I was made to feel very comfortable on the bed before surgery (with the comment, “this can sometimes take longer than the surgery.”) There was no pain with the injections and I was able to observe the whole procedure with no discomfort. The whole consultation and surgery were completed in about 30 minutes.

I would just like to commend Mark Lloyd and his nurse for their very pleasant manner, courtesy and professional approach to me. I would certainly recommend Mark and the Hampton Hospital for any future treatment.
