The Hamptons Hospital Quality Accounts
Every year, we publish an account of the quality of care we provide, so our patients, their families and the communities we serve can see how we are doing and where we are focusing our efforts to improve.
For providers delivering NHS-funded care under an NHS Standard Contract, publishing a Quality Account is a legal requirement. We treat it as more than a compliance exercise: it is an opportunity to be open about what is working well, where we have fallen short and what we are doing about it.
The Hamptons Hospital is a private diagnostic and day surgery hospital, registered with the Care Quality Commission. Alongside private and self-pay care, we deliver NHS-commissioned services, including community diagnostics, dermatology and endoscopy, as well as NHS Patient Choice services.
This is our second Annual Quality Account since opening in October 2023. This year, we were proud to achieve an overall Good rating in our first Care Quality Commission inspection, alongside continued growth in the services we offer our local community.
Each year we set quality priorities across the three domains of quality: patient safety, patient experience, and clinical effectiveness.
Our priorities are developed by the Senior Leadership Team and heads of department, informed by patient, consultant and staff feedback, clinical audit and national guidance. Progress is monitored throughout the year through our Clinical Governance Committee and reported to the Senior Leadership Team.
This Quality Account has been reviewed and approved by our senior clinical and operational leadership and shared with NHS Central East Integrated Care Board for review.
