We are delighted to announce the launch of a new Women’s Health service at Hamptons Hospital, led by Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Mr Stephen Havenga. With over 23 years of experience at Peterborough City Hospital, Mr Havenga brings his expertise in menopause management, ambulatory gynaecology, colposcopy, and hysteroscopy to this new specialist service.
A key part of this expansion is the introduction of a dedicated Menopause Clinic, designed to support women through every stage of the menopause transition. The clinic will provide comprehensive, face-to-face consultations, offering tailored advice on:
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal treatment options
- Lifestyle modifications to manage symptoms effectively
- Gynaecology screening and diagnostics, including hysteroscopy and colposcopy
- Coil fitting services, meeting the increasing demand for contraception and hormone regulation
To provide a truly holistic approach, the clinic will integrate nutritional support, physiotherapy, and psychological services as part of its long-term vision.
Patients will also have the convenience of filling prescriptions directly at Hamptons Hospital’s in-house pharmacy.
This new service marks an exciting step forward in women’s healthcare for Peterborough and beyond—ensuring faster access, expert-led care, and personalised support in a modern, patient-focused environment.
