Mr Ajmal Masood is an expert in ENT surgery, specialising in keyhole ear procedures, sinus surgery, and minimally invasive treatments for throat disorders. His patient-focused approach ensures effective care for both common and complex ENT conditions.

Background

Mr. Masood completed his ENT training with a focus on endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, specialising in ear, nose, and throat procedures with minimal scarring. Specialising in advanced endoscopic ENT procedures, he is one of the few surgeons in the East Anglia region performing keyhole ear surgery, often without visible surgical incisions or scars.

His expertise extends to nasal and sinus surgery, minimally invasive treatments for throat and swallowing disorders, and pediatric ENT care. He has performed hundreds of surgeries annually, including advanced treatments for sinus disease, swallowing disorders, and complex ear conditions.

Mr. Masood obtained his medical degree in 1993 before becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2006. He completed a Diploma in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (DO-HNS) the same year and earned his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Otolaryngology) in 2010. His training included leading institutions across the East of England, such as Addenbrookes Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He later pursued an advanced ENT Fellowship in Australia, further enhancing his skills in managing complex ENT conditions.

In addition to his clinical practice, he actively contributes to ENT research, presenting at international conferences, and serves as an Educational Supervisor for ENT Specialty Trainees within the East of England Deanery.
