Mr Ur Rasool qualified in medicine in Pakistan before completing his residency in the Republic of Ireland. He moved to England in 2019, where he completed specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in the East of England. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and currently oversees the Pleural Service at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, working closely with the respiratory teams at Peterborough City Hospital. He performs bronchoscopies, EBUS and pleural interventions at both sites.
