Iftikhar Nadeem is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with expertise in diagnosing and treating a full spectrum of lung and breathing conditions. He has a special interest in interstitial lung disease, COPD, lung cancer and complex respiratory disorders.

Known for his careful and thorough approach, Mr Nadeem combines detailed clinical assessment with advanced diagnostic techniques to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective, personalised treatment plans. His patients benefit from clear communication, evidence-based care and a responsive support team committed to ensuring comfort and confidence throughout the treatment journey.

Background

Mr Nadeem qualified in medicine in Pakistan before working as a resident doctor in the Republic of Ireland. Moving to England in 2019, he completed his specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in the East of England, serving as respiratory trainee representative for the region. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to a book chapter on interstitial lung diseases. As clinical audit lead for Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust’s Respiratory Department, he also led their Interstitial Lung Disease service and worked as an honorary consultant at University College London Hospitals, with procedural expertise in bronchoscopy and EBUS.
