That is why The Hamptons Hospital is proud to announce a new partnership with Wansford and Kings Cliffe Practice, providing specialist DEXA (bone density and body composition) scanning services in support of a major international clinical study into obesity and weight management.

Wansford and Kings Cliffe Practice is acting as lead GP site for the study, working with a network of specialists to better understand how new treatments can support people living with obesity, including those without Type 2 diabetes. The Hamptons Hospital’s role is to provide the DEXA imaging that underpins this work, using our radiology team’s expertise to deliver the accurate, consistent scan data that research of this kind depends on.

Under the agreement, study participants referred by Wansford and Kings Cliffe Practice will attend The Hamptons Hospital for whole body DEXA scanning, carried out to the study’s exact protocol and turned around quickly so that results can feed directly into the research timeline.
