Mr Steve Havenga FRCOG PGCertMedEd

Steve Havenga has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Peterborough City Hospital for 23 years. His interests are in Ambulatory gynaecology, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, gynaecology scanning and menopause.

He is pleased to announce a new Women’s Health service starting at the Hampton’s hospital soon-this will be the provision of a dedicated Menopause Clinic. This will be run largely face to face and will allow women from the Peterborough catchment area to come and discuss their concerns and receive professional advice and guidance regarding HRT, non-hormonal methods of dealing with the menopause and related topics, such as lifestyle modification. Patients will be able to fill their prescriptions at the in-house Pharmacy and ancillary services, such as nutritional/dietary advice and access to physiotherapy and psychological support are also part of the long-term vision. Plans are afoot to also offer a coil fitting service to meet current demand.
