Mr George Settas Consultant Ophthalmologist

Biography

Mr. Settas is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
He began his ophthalmology training at the University Hospital of Heraklion, where he worked under the guidance of Prof. Pallikaris, a pioneer in LASIK procedures.
After relocating to the UK in 2004, Mr. Settas continued his training at the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary and the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
He completed a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, followed by a clinical fellowship in Corneal Laser Refractive Surgery.
To date, he has performed over 10,000 LASIK and LASEK procedures and more than 4,000 Refractive Lens Procedures.
