Mr Andrew Tsang

Mr Tsang is a consultant upper GI surgeon specialising in surgery on the oesophagus, stomach, small bowel, gallbladder, bile ducts and spleen. He also performs general surgery particularly laparoscopic (keyhole) hernia surgery and has a sub-specialty interest in weight loss/metabolic (bariatric) surgery. Upper GI endoscopy includes both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Mr Tsang qualified from University College London medical school in 1999 and completed his surgical training in the East Anglia region becoming a consultant in 2012. His specialist bariatric surgery training was at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital which is the regional bariatric centre for the East of England. He was an upper GI consultant surgeon at the North West Anglia Foundation Trust until 2022 before working full time in the independent sector.
